Founded in 1995, the BISON Scholarship Fund is a privately funded tuition assistance program for low-income elementary school children to attend private elementary school of choice. BISON’s mission is to provide low-income parents a full range of choices for their children’s education. Families awarded a BISON grant are able to enroll their child in a private school of their choice in any of the 8 counties of Western New York.

All families that apply must demonstrate their financial need, and be willing to pay at least $500 towards their
child's education.
